To return the data displayed in the result set to Microsoft Excel,
in Microsoft Query, click Return Data.
To control formatting and layout options when the external data
range is brought into Microsoft Excel, click Properties in the
Returning External Data to Microsoft Excel dialog box.
If you do not want to maintain the data in the List Manager, clear the Use
List Manager check box in the External Data Range Properties dialog
box. For more information, see Microsoft Excel Help.
Do one of the following:
To put the result set on the selected worksheet, click Existing worksheet. On your worksheet, enter the cell reference or click the cell where you want to place the upper-left corner of the result set, and then click OK.
To put the result set on a new worksheet, click New worksheet, and then click OK. Microsoft Excel adds a new worksheet to your workbook and automatically puts the result set in the upper-left corner of the new worksheet.
To use the external data in a PivotTable, click PivotTable report, and then click OK.
